Lisa Chester joined Warrick Dunn Charities as the Director of Operations where she was responsible for developing business strategy, fostering corporate and community alliances and managing operations to achieve organizational, program and financial goals for the charity. Prior to WDC, Lisa developed integrated media strategies for Turner Broadcasting’s portfolio of brands and initiatives including the Turner Entertainment Network and United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF). During her tenure, Lisa was tapped to spearhead multimillion dollar outdoor ad campaigns for the brands annually. She has led corporate responsibility initiatives as well as supported and executed planning for programming, influencer campaigns, branding events and e-commerce sales. Ms. Chester began her professional career with McCann WorldGroup servicing accounts in the automotive, QSR, home improvement, consumer goods and products categories. Her background includes management and public relations work serving non-profits, arts community, music industry and professional sports. She enjoys volunteerism and has served various organizations including Project Open Hand, Citizens for Kasim Reed, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Girls Inc, Youth Ensemble of Atlanta, United Negro College Fund and Atlanta Center for Self-Sufficiency. A graduate of the Atlanta University Center, Ms. Chester received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Media Arts from Morris Brown College. She also holds a Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Management.
LUCY ANN GOSSETT,
EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Lucy Ann Gossett, Executive Administrative Assistant, is responsible for supporting charity operations. A native of Tennessee, Gossett graduated from Austin Peay State University with a Bachelors of Science in Mass Communications and a minor in Psychology. Previously, Gossett was the coaches assistant for former Head Coach Tony Dungy of the Indianapolis Colts. Her experience also includes human resources for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers where she assisted in community and game day public relations. Gossett also has experience in community relations for the Tampa Bay “Devil” Rays and was director of project management for Public Affairs, an event marketing firm in Orlando, Fla.
PROGRAM COORDINATOR – HOMES FOR THE HOLIDAYS
Ashley Hamilton is the Homes for the Holidays (HFTH) Program Manager. She is responsible for coordinating and managing home celebrations, building and maintaining relationships with community partners, and developing and executing effective HFTH support services; including financial literacy, education, and health and wellness. While serving as a main point of contact for recipient families, Ms. Hamilton participates in HFTH’s NFL Expansion and leads various projects with partners and sponsors of the charity. Hailing from Yonkers, NY, Ms. Hamilton received her Bachelor of Science in Health, Physical Education, and Recreation, with a major in Sports Management, and a minor in Hospitality Management from Virginia State University. Ms. Hamilton comes with a background in community programming via Gwinnett County Parks and Recreation and executive-level event coordination with the Georgia Dome. Understanding the importance of having positive role models that are active in the community, Ms. Hamilton continues to be of service through volunteering with both her church and local organizations.
