Count on Your Future

Helping families achieve financial empowerment.
COUNT ON YOUR FUTURE
Teaching Families How to Spend and Save Wisely

WHAT WE DO

Warrick Dunn Charities, in partnership with COUNTRY Financial®, established the Count on Your Future program in 2014 to teach families how to achieve economic empowerment, thereby helping to break the cycle of generational poverty and creating a better quality of life.

Our Count on Your Future program promotes financial empowerment by providing children, teens, and adults with tools and resources to help them with their financial futures. Teen and adult participants who complete* the free ‘Count on Your Future’ Spring or Fall workshops will receive up to $500 in matching funds toward opening and sustaining an investment account, no obligation Financial analysis, a debt recovery plan, and are paired with a COUNTRY Financial representative for up to two years.

*Completion is determined by attendance. Attendance requirements may differ between Teen and Adult workshops.

HOW WE DO IT

Step 1:

We host financial education workshops for low to moderate income earners. These workshops are funded by our partners and donors like you, and are led by finance industry experts.

Step 2:

Participants learn about proper budgeting, insurance products, investing, saving, managing credit and debt, and other techniques to help prepare them for financial success.

Step 3:

Upon successful completion of the workshop, teen and adult participants are eligible for seed money to open an investment account, given matching contributions funded by Warrick Dunn Charities, a no obligation financial analysis, and are paired with a COUNTRY Financial Representative for up to two years.

WHY WE DO IT

Count on Your Future was created to empower individuals to achieve financial stability and success by providing them with tools and resources through our free workshop series.
“I attended all of the classes and was able to set up an investment account and maximize WDC’s contribution to start saving toward retirement. I regularly share what I learned in Count On Your Future with my children to help set them up for financial success in the future.” – Gwendolyn Henderson
