SCULPT
WHAT WE DO
When families live healthier lifestyles, they also save money in the long run. They are often able to reduce their medical expenses and the need for medications. Our SCULPT workshop series allows families to invest in themselves by creating fun memories through learning how to build a garden and grow their own foods; participating in cooking classes; and engaging in fun fitness and health related activities.
For a period of 6 months, participant families commit to attending a monthly educational session. Health data is collected at the beginning of the series and again at the 6 month mark.
With dedication and consistency, families are empowered to improve their own health outcomes!”
“I attended the SCULPT Home Gardening Workshop and it has changed my life! SCULPT has made me want to eat better and live a healthier lifestyle. My nutrition, diet, and healthy habits have increased so much. From gardening and learning how to make small daily changes, it has made a major difference in my family’s life.” – Kimberly Kindel
“In 2020, 38.3 million people lived in food-insecure households.”
